Challange 21

Well I have never used a laptop til we went to bowling green. It was a challange at first knowing how to get started, but them I felt more comfortable by the end of the trip. I was going to buy one for myself for home but I wasn't sure what is the best one to buy so it on hold for now. I got to pay for the new car first. I like the bonus links you added for this challange. I find it to be most useful. I printed out the general keyboard short cuts and put it by my computer at home and work.!! Thanks for the tips Emily.......I guess Iam at the end of the challange...It has been fun... See ya on Sunday......

Challenge 20

In challenge 15 I had stated I have Mozilla firefox on my computer. Iam familar with Mozilla firefox and what it can do. I checked out Clamwin and it was very interesting. The best part it all it is (Free) and you can protect your computer at the sametime. I download open office.org and it pretty cool. Of Course as you said it is like Mircosoft but you can do different things. I like knowing I have another source I can type a document in besides Mircosoft word.

Challenge 19

Well. I did My Yahoo account (pimp it up alittle) by adding alot of things I use all the time. Plus I added the other email address to it that I use all time. I have so many accounts that I have a hard time remembering passwords so I didn't sign up for any. but I did go check them out.

Challange 18

It was neat to check out the different awards categories to see who is first. But I myself would not use it all the time.

Challenge 17

I like overdrive........The step by step guide that helps walk you thur everything. I use my MP3 player I got at the last challenge to download a book and even a song I been looking for. We have patrons that would love to use the over drive at home. Alot of my friends have used the Playaways but now they can use their MP3 players to download books to walk with. I will tell all my friends about this new service we have.

Challenge 16

Photoshop was pretty cool. I like what you could do with images from 3D to changing the color. Yes, i thought it was easy to use. I like flickr because I use before from the last challenge and loved it.

I have fire fox at home. No more than I use the computer I don't see any differents.

Challenge 14

I love this web site. :) I use all the time.. I really like it now that it is up dated. I use the quick links alot. as well as the subject guides. I did see something I didn't know was on there was Fast facts about Nelson County and Bardstown I knew was there. But we allways have people that move to the area that want to know about Nelson County and bardstown this a great place to start. I can use the zipcode look up for my Christmas card list. that I don't have the zip. But my favorite is Weather Channel. I put in Bloomfield and can check the weather outside with out going out side.

Challenge 13

I like the site instructables. I am always wanting to make something..( I like the step by step) So I put in how to make candles and soaps. I love candles and I thought If i could make them it would be a cool gift to give to somebody at christmas or Birthday or just because. Soaps would be fun too.... I would like to do this at church with the youth group they would like doing it. Yes, I would recommend this site to patrons.

Challenge 12

43 things was fun. I like the idea of keeping up with my goals and also seeing my progress as well as others progress reports. Noomii was cool too cause of you can do it with a friend. It is always better to do it with somebody than by your self.

Challenge 11

Alot of the teens at the library use alot slang in texting and I don't know what it means. I was glad I have a place to go to see what they mean now. Iam always getting texts on my cell phone , so this will be most helpful.

Challenge 10

Internet Movie database was most helpful in finding information on the movies. I enjoyed the midomi site. I love listen and singing different types of music. I like all types of music even for the music videos. I will tell our teens patrons about these site. They love listen to m usic and videos.

Challenge 9

Vault was very interesting. I enjoyed checking out the different carrers and what you need. I also checked into Physical Therapy Careers and Checked out the resumes samples because I had a patron wanting to look at samples of resumes. I showed her what was on vault and she thought it was very helpful in choosing the one she wanted to use.
